i have brought some alpine 6*9s and an alpine headunit which is coming next month. But i am also going to buy some Alpine SPR-176A componant speakers for the front of a corsa B, will these fit in the doors without making door pods as i dont want to see the speakers for safety reasons.

I bought some of these when I had my Corsa B, and IIRC the magnets were very big - too big to fit through the gap in the door skin

The door pocket comes out slightly further on the C's so you might just about get away with it - if not, you'll have to 'trim' the door skin a lil bit

i have them in my corsa, the autoleads adaptors are slightly too small, u need to make them a bit bigger for the speaker to seat properly.

i find them very good, i'm putting about 40w rms through them and they seem to like it (they can handle 50w rms), as long as you remember that they're components and not subs, they play along very nicely, wont handle the deep bass, but mid range and high is very good
