alu sheeting cost £10 from b+q. and some 18mm mdf.

I cut a circle in the mdf the diameter of the circle been big enough 2 fit the cone in.
Then on the botton of the cone filter there is a hole i drew this on the circle of the mdf and cut it out so the cone filter could sit on one side of the mdf but be connected on other side so the mdf would be held in place by the induction kit.

i then made another mfd circle and screwed them into each end of the sheeting

hope this makes some sense hard 2 explain

only thing is i hate MDF

and it'll go soggy if it gets wet.

Looks good though and it's doing the job well i assume.

Yeah, as i was setting off at traffic lights my car would feel like i was going 2 stall and it stopped this happening. Got a decent cold air feed now and it works well

heat shield not really required. what I would fit is an air circulation structure. this would force the cold air all around the filter.

is that the same as a pipe running from the front of the car and blowing air onto the cone. i have one of these but it dont really work effectivley. the cone still gets a lot of engine heat
