im looking for a cheapish screen to go in the dash of my car maybe where the mfd is,what will i need to buy to have a ps2 linked up to one so i can watch dvd's from it and play the ps2? also has anyone got any idea how to make the pod for the screen to sit where the mfd was?

Look in Claire Richardson 's garage, she is currently in the process of making one.
You will need an AV lead for the PS2 (should have come with it, it has red, white and yellow composite connectors) and all you need to run it to the TV is maybe some RCA extension cables and some RCA female-female couplers.
To power the PS2 you will either need a 150w minimum invertor or the 12v power conversion kit which is more expensive.

very very very shit screen, its an STN screen, bloody terrible, fuzzy as hell.

Go for TFT screens with a high resolution, and dont buy from the states
