i jus got norton 2003 installed and it works for 2 minutes then shuts down???
any reason?

antivirus 2003 but 2002 done the same si and its been on my puter a long time

Well I aint gonna tell you how to fix it, coz I cant be arsed, just get a decent Antivirus. Get AVG from www.grisoft.co.uk, or get version 7 off Kazaa, very good Antivirus program, free too.

Someone my girlfriend works with just installed Norton AV on her PC, and apparently it shuts down every time she goes on the Internet?

Could be a virus that has evaded Norton's capture perhaps?

I'm going to get the PC off her soon to have a look, so I'll let you know what the status of it was.

try running norton in safe mode. i had the same problem where it used to shut down a short time into a scan. I can't remember if thats how i got it to work but try it anyway.
