it really p1553d me off! just my luck my suspension is in the post and i just orderd a tv for my car which is also stuck in this strike, how long is it supposed to go on for? ee"guarenteed next day delivery" fcukin jokers!

it does not affect couriers, its only some sorting office staff hardly any of the country is affected. only london and some surrounding areas.

its actually affecting lots of areas of the company, mostly london area but manchester and other large cities are suffering as well.
Also, they have no chance of getting what they want.

Apparently (according to our postroom at work) the strike started in the London area I think, then they tried to get the mail sorted at the Cowley sorting office, Oxford, but they refused (and then subsequently went on strike too)!

Last I heard, we were having our mail sent by courier to the Royal Mail sorting office in Hemel Hempstead, but I don't know if they are on strike too...
