I need to uplug the vauxhall immobilisor, as its causing my car to cut out like every 10minutes, its a SGI C16XE engined corsa, i carnt find the alarm box, i thought it was a siemens alarm???? keep finding stuff with siemans written on it, there is a box with SRS unit written on by siemens unplugged it and it aint done nothing dont know what it does

have tried in engine bay?
or behind the glove box

Me cliffor is behind me glove box although thinking about it thee is other stuff there too, i will go check that

SRS is for your aigbag, so your aigbag light should now be flashing?

its deffo in the car in the gsi for a vaux alarm, i seem to think its either above/behind the glovebox or near the passenger kick panel but just unplugging it wont work you will have to remove it properly and rejoin the wires where the immobilizer brakes them.

yeah i decided against cutting the wires cos i realised about the breaks in connections, the immobilisor will be making the connections!!!.
Getting Aucousticar, the local alarm guys to come and remove it

the immobilisor sit around your ignition barrel, and the chip for it sits insit your key.
be care full as the engine will not run with out it
