Got my car back with the Piper X Viper fitted, and it seems really good, definately a big difference in pickup, not much noise from it, but I'd rather have the performance, looks wicked too.

I'm in the proces of making my own viper 'clone' with a K&N, some plasting pipe off and extractor fan, 100mm dia alluminium ducting, alluminium sheeting and some insulation.
Will post pictures and the steps i took once finished.

hi mate i got the viper on my Gsi too with full zorst system, my viper sounds the nutts though
disconnect the air feed from the viper kit itself and drive it then flooring it after 3000revs, u will see!!
but it kinda defeats the whole idea of the viper if you disconnect it

Sounds good matey
Maybe I just don't notice the noise so much as I had a BFO before which was really loud.

Wouldn't want that to happen, you'd see a drop in performance with an obstruction like that

The cold air feed is at the bottom of my bumper, behind the mesh, when you cover it with ya hand ya can feel it trying to suck it in.
