Ps2 bores me and the pc online games are full of hackers.
Some of the titles on the ps3 look amazing like Gt Hd, Gta and Mgs4.
The 60bg ones are £250 new on ebay and £30 postage so was going to get one from there.
are they really as good as they look and is it a massive step up from the ps2 ?
thanks.

Al of those games you've mentioned aren't out yet, might be an idea to start saving fro one though

They do have wi-fi built in, I have one and I'd say buy one.

It is built in, just go to network and new network connection or similar - will either find a wired network, or search for a wireless one

I've just bought a xbox 360 premium, I've got a ps2 (which I think I'll try to sell for £50 with all the games and shit soon) - but I was holding out for the ps3, but really not been impressed by a single game currently out for it.
I liked GT4 - but to be honest the handling etc was quite arcadey / ropey... and looking at GT5 it looks pretty much same old.
Then Gta cool, but it'll be out on PC (maybe xbox 360 later?) - so not missing out on much there.
Think Crysis is out soon, but I can get that on xbox 360 or PC so
To be honest, I currently see no reason to buy a Ps3 at the moment. When I do see that reason I'll maybe Part X my xbox 360 in for one, but until then it's just pointless?

does no one rememebr all the problems with the lasers failing on ps2's within like a month of warranty running out? id rather have my 360 break and be fixed for free than my ps3 die after warranty and be completely useless

New Betamax imo
To be fair I saw a blue ray video example and it did look impressive, but I just think it's a waste of time at the mo.

it isnt, quality is the same and a 54gb hd dvd has been made so pretty soon will hold more than bluray anyway
as far as quality goes some people think the hd codec is actually better than bluray

Do they not have 100gig blu ray's in the pipeline?
And I distinctly remember you saying holding more wasn't a good point of blu ray.
I've still no idea what one if any will be victor but the latest thing I read was whatever film came out recently they sold some stupid amount of blu rays and hd-dvd was nowhere near.
