I have a 1.2i corsa 4 speed. Everytime i depress the clutch pedal I get this whiny noise and i hant got a clue wot it is! I cant hear it when the gear is engaged and im driving along, only when a press the pedal. Wot cud it be? Synchromesh?? Clutch??

Thanks for the advise! Sorry im a complete novice when it comes to engines. How do i sort it? Or is it a mechanic job?

clutch release bearing is a gearbox off job

if u arnt comfortable with that then yes take it somewhere else

when you buy a clutch nowdays you normally get a clutch clutch cover plate and the release bearing so best to change them all
