So ive had it at half price? That does sound slightly dodgy, do you think i should get it checked out before i fit it to make sure its all ok? I bought rom an ebay company called motorsport performance, they had a very good feedback and had sold quite alot on there, seem reputable enough but its quite mad im getting it for half price

I know, couldnt believe it when i saw it for £130 with reserve price met and only 1 other bidder, i was expecting to have to keep bidding up to about £250 but when it ended at £150 and i was highest bidder i was shocked
I just hope that its all okay, where do i stand if its not??

no, u have probably got the budget kit (like i have) and the rrp is around £200.

Excellent kit, but the front is way lower than 40, more like 50 or 60 (no i havent got the 60/40 kit, its deff the -40 all round, as a few other ppl with the same kit say the front is alot lower)

so u might want to put different front springs on (like i did, -40mm p1, and that brings it up nicely, so now the gap between tyre and arches is the same all round)

Whats the difference with the budget kit then? I would probably want the front to lower more anyway cos its way higher than the back, theres a much bigger gap at the front, if it is the budget kit i suppose ive still got £50 off, not bad

If you've got any FK shock and spring suspension kit, then it should have the High-Tec springs in which case DON'T swap them for something like PI.

The FK springs are very good quality - so fitting something else (and worse!)because they drop too much is a shame.

only reason p1 springs went on the front is that my alloys were scrubbing on the arches, and would fook up my tyres

with the coilovers, the fisrt set had two where the rod totally siezed (one on front and one on back) got them replaced and the second set had a bent rod on a rear unit and the front offside unit didn't have any dasmping and rebound adjustment.

Got some custom made gaz ones now and they are minty fresh!
