I have a choice next christmas to either buy a mitsubishi colt or start buying and building up a Lotus 7, what do u lot think?

lets be different and sod the weather thing, get a skiing coat and your sorted
i'd love to build a kit car, something like a lotus 7, caterham style...but i cant even get insured at my ages

Who gives a flyin donkeys arse about the weather, to tell u the truth i wouldnt if i got one, either way me an me mate have almost finished a 7 and we are planning on trying to build the next one with a hard top instead of a softop which is the standard at the mo.

this is a good point but i still have a hard descision weather i should bother building one or getting a colt and seriously modifying it im not just saying how good the Lotus 7 is cos it is boss like but i still want the colt as well, just trying to get a few points of views on the matter

well as far as i can see a lotus 7 aint a daily driver, wether it has a hard top or soft top, its a trackday car u can drive to & from the circuit
