i know u gotta change shafts but is wiring loom the same i also wanna rev counter which i realy want  lease advise

No point going from a 1.0 to a 1.2. Go for a 1.6 or a 2.0. I'm pretty sure you can get clocks with a rev counter from a scrappy which would plug straight in.
I have a Corsa C and know little about Corsa Bs but somebody on here will put your right.

if your swapping mainly just for a rev counter, go to a breakers etc and get some 1.0 12v rev counter clocks, about £50 i should think

y u gotta change shafts?? its same f13 gearbox same mountains appart from engine as for loom should plug in but dont forget to get transponder chip for imobiliser like corsri_bt said go for 1.6 of 2.0 far more fun

I thought the gearbox in the sxi was a close ratio gearbox different to the 1.2 8v / 1.2 16v (other ones) and 1.0 12v?
I have a sxi, and for the money to put a sxi engine into a 1.0 12v, you might as well get a 1.6 or at least a 1.4 16v?

1.0 uses f13 cr too same as 1.2 16v
