yeah it took me ages just to make door builds, i evenb gave up trying to get a perfect shape so covered them in vinyl rather than paint, but then that took me 3 hours for each one cos they are so damn fiddly.

quote on doorbuilds in other post "make em yourself, piece of piss. im in the process of covering mine in vinyl at the moment. cost me about £15 to do both." LOL

No it takes some time and if you are a perfectionist like myself you'll endup with some right headaches trying to reach perfection (exact smooth shapes etc) You have to always realise that you cant reach perfection and their comes to a point you have to say "thats done"

some strong adhesive glue, a paintbrush, some nice material(alcantara??), a pair of scissors, a pencil, sewing machine and some cotton.

Failing that, a stack of cash once youve finished and take it to a trimming place!

paint is sweet an can look really classy, tempted by it meself cos a mate does custom airburshin an cud do some trick detailin for me, but the preperation is hard work aint it? wi sandin all the fibreglass to get a smooth finish!!

if u have the time, and patience, and sandpaper go for it!!
