No matter how hard I try to get rid of it they keep misting up again even with the heater on full blast, I've checked for water penetration but found none is there a cure for this as its really pissing me off now.

Your car should have a pollen filter, check under the scuttle panel.
Or grab a Haynes manual just to check.
If it has one you should change it 10-15,000 miles, it will make a difference.

yup change the pollen filter have the nearest dial set to de-mist the slider control set to outside not re-circ and have the centre vents turned off and the side ones on and poin them and the lower part of the windowit clears the screen and side windows as you say rear is heated so thats ok youll have full use of all mirrors and yes change the pollen filter is probably black and clogged

mine does this ALL the time, whats worse is the guy that had the car before me was obliviously very artistic and talented and has drawn little flowers and smilie faces all over the windows so everytime they steam up you can see the fantastic pics!!! Bastard!!

In my experience it didn't speed it up but I'm really impatient. the best method I've tried is driving - heats it up in about 5 mins. Sittig on the drive revving it doesn't seem to speed it up as much.

Wonder what this FOG X stuff is, and where do you get it ?
Our Corsa also suffers from steam up, outside cool air
helps a lot, but it's not season to have windows open is it ?
My Civic steams up as well so I'd be very interested in
anti misting stuff, regards de Wessy

fog x is in a blue bottle, halford etc sells it, you clean in inside of the windows, then put the stuff on and thats it, i re-apply it once every few months and it helps

i herd that as well mav, i herd the air con would suck the moisture out of the air if on hot and re-circ.

any airconditioner drys air, you may notice in the summer a pool of water under the engine on a dry day after running the a/c, that is condensate from the a/c system drain.
all refrigeration systems dehumidify, however i doubt such a small airconditioner would dry the air quick enough to clear the screen before the engine heats up and the warm air clears it.
stick to using the heater as airconditioning will just waste your fuel and freeze your nuts off even more
