im om et38 with a 60mm drop. Had to remove arch bolts at the top of the arch and bang the inner arch out a bit at the rear. Scrubs a little with weight in the back over harsh bumps

Some one told me that i can modify the offset by removing some metal at the back of the wheels. I want to keep this alloy wheels because they look great on the corsa with out modifying the arch!!

its up to you but i didn't want to touch the alloys so i did the arch instead. I think u may get away with 40mm. Im down 60mm and its a true 60mm with PI springs. Chances are the 40mm springs u have won't lower a true 40mm

got same wheel & tire size, mines lowered 50mm in OMP springs. You gotta work on your arches otherwise it will scrub a lot

get rid of the 195/50 tyres for 195/45 and ur arches shouldnt be a problem
i ran et35 15's on 195/45 lowered 40mm on my corsa for two years and only had to do a little arch work, i.e. remove top two bolts and give the inner arch a bash with a rubber mallet
