1.6 8v form nova GTE into corsa 1.2ls!
this sounds like a really good idea 4 gettin a bit mor power, especially if the engine is modded 2! So all i hav 2 do i buy the engine, ecu, gearbox, loom! just lyk this--->

and then get it fitted, along with sum other parts such as exhaust as this is different, and accelerator cable!! thats wud b lyk 60bhp mor than my 1.2 for just £200 
will my koni springs and shocks b ok or will i need coilovers! will i also need v6 brakes!

no u will not need v6 brakes as this is not a 2.5 v6 engine in a big car
2.0 16v brakes off an astra will do the job fine or even 1.6 corsa sport/gsi ones
engine will not be much heavier then yours

My brother gave his Nova GSi engine away for FREE......had fVsh and 34k on clock....
they aint wanted engines really.
Come to think of it, that engine is now in a totally std 5door corsa! lol

so its true, i could do this conversion 4 £200, £300 with the astra 2.0l brakes!

to make the car legal tho, wud i hav 2 change the log book 2 1.6 8v corsa, and will this cost me money??

You will need an engineer report and can cost up to £250

It is that m8, you dont have to but if you have an accident your insurance wont cover you.
