got a Led for a alarm.. need to fit it sumwhere?!?!?!?!? it has two wires red and black... where is the best place to fit these wires to?? your cd player?? ignition. (im planning drilling into the spare pannel under the fog light switch in my sport)... cheers, also diagrams will be helpful. ta

nah i didnt do it myself..thats where the original one was and the just had a clifford put in they put it there again. Im pretty sure its just linked to the rest of the alarm...who knows sorry dude

mate the best way i feel to go is wire it directly to ur battery. Red to positive and black to negative. This means it flash's all the time. if u have an alarm and if it has another wire coming out from it for say boot release or ultra sonic sensers then u can connect the positive wire to that and then the led will only come on when the alarm is activated.

My led is fitted on the slider control, see where the slider is for the heater, mine was fitted into the bit that pops out on the left, the alarm blokes put it there

so have ya got an alarm or just the flasher, if ya got an alarm wire it into that otherwise it will only be one when the things you wire it to are

wire them up to ur radio wires, the negative to an ignition live and the poss to a perm live, this way itll come on when the ignition is off surely?

its just a flasher, the sports just come with a cat 2 immobiliser.. so im hoping a flasher will detare thiefs away.. what do i do then.. a positive to the ignition and negative to a negative radio???

i no that to keep the led on when the ignition is off!! to wire it to the ignition (dangerous mission) or to just wire to my cd player, to keep it on all the time... all i need to do now is to find a play where i can feed the wires and also get behind to put the led in!!!
