Anybody got 1 on a corsa?
does it remove the 1.5m of restricting piping or retain it?

although the velos item removes the piping etc an i no peak power is at high revs but it must improve the driving througout the rev range too surely

or else keeping standard limit im keeping there would be no point in fitting one?????

yeah apparently they only kick about 5500 so u need to put the limiter out to get the benefit.
Ive decided im goin for the lexmaul ram kit, it gives approx 15bhp and more mid range torque and u can keep the lovely sound that they have.

yes upping the rev limit with velos is recommended

but i have emailed them as im having it fitted very soon an they said yes upping the rev limit will improve peak power as i expected but the velos still creates excellent power throughout the rev range along with massive improved drivability with standard limiter and good power high up the revs

hey broster the one good thing about x14xe an x16xe engines is the fact they like being revved, revvy little engines

the lexmaul only claims 7-10 bhp its the 1.6 that it claims 10-15bhp

iv got a velos torque tube, had it fitted at the same time as a superchip with raised limiter.

u can notice theres more torque throughout the rev range (better town drivin ), but more higher up, my lump luvs to be reved

They all add mid range power and torque.

I made 121bhp with my old one and std rev limit...

If you raise the rev limit it will probably only go up 500rpm, so which isn't going to add loads of power.

should look into the dbalis ones as well. when mixed with mapping gives really nice gains from around 3000rpm all the way to rev limit
