i was thinking about this, why cant u get some samco pipe, and fit it to the throttal body down to the side of the engine with a induction kit at the end

then drill/fit in things like air flow metre and what ever else

im sure its not that simple tho

There performance inlet manifolds for the 1.4 and 1.6 16v xe engines, they replace the original which is very restrictive

Mine was the red GSi with Velos Torq tube on - had stainless steel battery cover and spark plug cover too.
The grey GSi that had blue Samco hose to the Torq Tube was Matt's from the South Yorkshire Region.

im in the process of doing them, taking a lot longer than i hoped tho. not as simple as you would think, the cost rules it out unless you are prepared to make 20+ in one go.

you don't have to copy exactly a mantzel or velos.
could just make up something of your own.

My mate paul (VX PAUL on migweb), He has made a few of his own powerboxes. He has one on his car and when he fitted it it made so much differance! Loads better than the standard one. I know he has a few of them made up and he is will ing to sell them too. His looks really good. Looks proper original. Go on migweb and PM him and have a word with him , he will sort you out with one.
