hey guys.
gettin a bit fed up with the power i get off my 1.0 12V Corsa C and I've got loads of stuff on the car that i can't be bothered to change over to another car..... so i was thinkin of maybe whippin out me Z10XE and puttin in a Z14XE? but any1 know how hard thats gonna be and whether it'll be worth it?
i'm thinkin that a lot of the loom will need to be modified or changed since i'm goin from 3cylinders to 4??
any help much appreciated lads

Basically to do it, your pretty much going to need the whole loom out of a z14xe for it to work properly. Doesnt sound bad, except for there is no separate loom for engine/car like in most cars. Your going to need to re wire the whole car.

Will always be easier to change your car for the 1.4. Unless its got major body mods that cant be swapped over, then its not worth the hassle. Other thing is that if you get the 1.4 SRi, you get Aircon, leccy windows, alarm etc .

The 1.4 Sri also has better brakes and suspension. Alternatively the 1.4 Elegance (dunno if they did it in 3dr) had the same 88 ps engine and brakes without the wheels and suspension. But at least you are getting better brakes, engine and on that model ...trim too.
They are less sought after than the Sri, so are cheaper too.
All you would have to do is add a unichip and inlet manifold and airbox mods to make it 115 bhp.
