GSI's upto late 93 are C16XE
after this date the GSI got the X16XE
1.6 sports will only ever have the X16XE

easy way to tell the difference
x16xe has a silver inlet manifold
where as the c16xe is black

my GSI is a C16XE and was first registered August 1994, so must have been one of the last ones, only way to tell is like the others said, the inlet manifold and whats written on cam cover, C16XE IS BEST
