Got some 17" BSA Cobra's.
They are currently chromed but have now got the chrome pealing off due to kerbing by the previous owner. Now I dont know what to do about getting them refurbed.
The idea's are.
Chrome again
Powder coated white
Powder coated black
Shadow chromed
Poweder coated blue (to match car)
Polished
Or any above finish (except chrome) with a polished rim?
The car is a 97 Honda Civic in Midnight blue, the chromes do look smart now but it aint gonna be cheap to get them re chromed.

I have this same problem with my audiobahn aw1200q's. Lovely massive chrome magnets on them but now theyre bubbled and crappy lookin. Would do anything to have them lookin good as new............... apart from buyin new ones that is.

Yeah its a bit of an arse.
Thats why I like the idea of white powder coated rims..........think they would look smart on a dark blue lowered civic, but then again chrome does look the dogs.

drivin ur car in the rain will make u cry when u think of the cleanin ur gonna have to do!! i hit mine wi a bucket an sponge nearly every day then polish at least once to twice a week to keep em..

whatever u do on't get them done the same colour as ur car. A lad around my way has a blue corsa with his wheels sprayed blue. they look shite IMO. They looked a lot better when they were black.
i would get them done white as i think white wheels look spot on

Look at my location mate
So where ya from mucker?
And where can i get my rims done? theyre startin to look a bit crap and white ones would look tasty with my red paint job.
Does anyone know where i can get my subs redone?
Look the badgers when theyre new but the chromes abit bobbly now. I stared at them in awe when i first got them.

Might get em polished or powder coated white, with a polished rim. I think that would look smart. But is polishing a rim possible if it needs work to take out marks from kerbing??

Dont like black, the actual design of the wheel doesnt tend to stand out.
My wheels aint got a good surface like speedlines, I mean they have loads of spokes so may not be as easy to polish.
I really like the idea of the outer rim being polished and the inner spokes being powder coated white.

I agree with makarus. fully black wheels look like steelys. i really dont see the attraction. inner black and outer chrome looks ok. too much black looks pants IMO.
