sorry about this dumb question i'm new to car filler  .
what im wondering is once i've filled up what i'ved wanted to and sanded it down and its dryed... do i have to use something to protect it from the weather/rain.. or once its dried its fine to just leave?

spray it with primer, but then even that isnt water proof. just make sure you paint it fairly soon after and make sure its properly dry throughout before you paint.
