it does not say on instructions how long to leave before you sand it down




just wondered if anyone knew ?

depends how much hardener you put in.

wait till its hard then sand away.

cold day with not much hardner - hours/all day

hot sunny day with loads - 30 secs

Its a case of practise to get the ammounts rite mate, the "pea sized ammount to every golf ball size" that the instructions recommend really is crap (i found)

i normally just use loadsa hardener, then if i run out, buy some more.

got a question for you all.pointless like but it does my head in.

how comes you only get the same amount of hardner in fibreglass as you do filler but the ratio is 3:1 instead of 1:1.

the ratio 4 filler is approx. a pea 2 a golf ball and for f/glass ( i take it u mean fibreglass filler) is the same.

filler takes around 20mins to harden with the right amount of hardner at room temp.

i hope you all no if you put to much hardner in it has the opposite effect

u sure m8 coz i seen boys mixing 2 much hardner in and it just went off as they mixed

i work in a bodyshop/mechanic workshop mate it depands for the amounnt of filler you are using
