Hey peeps new kid on the block here!!
im looking to do some door builds etc and just wanted to know if fibre glass will make a good bond to the MDF or will it crack off over time??

fibreglass and plastic aint the best of things to try and stick, although when i do, ive not had too many problems as i cut into the plastic with a dremel to give it something to key into

shoudlnt be a problem - MDF and Block board are used in cored laminate structures - to give extra thickness without too much extra mass - and it keys fine to the surface of MDF; just rough/burr it up a bit first with low grade sand paper so the resin in the chopped glass ( Im assuming ur gonna use P40 over the MDF) can key to the surface

You could stick a few screws in and grind them flat - fill over them.
