from my drivers side wheel when im driving along.
is this wheel bearing? i know it needs a new outer CV joint too on that side could it jsut be that?

why u need a new CV joint?
if the boot has gone it would be just a dry joint.
to test wheel baring grab hold of the top of the wheel with both hand and give it a good pull back and forwards if theres any play then its the wheel baring

cheers, don't think theres any play in the wheel at all.
i thought i needed a new outer CV joint because when i turn the wheel on full lock i get a clicking noise and sometimes a knock.
would a squeak maybe caused by low brake pads/discs.
the car is a 1.6 sport btw
