Managed to swap the engines in a day, in the rain

and finsih the wiring, exhast, balljoints, radiator, battery/tray, header tank, gear linkage and plumbing the next day for a few hours. Wouldn't start cos you need this box under the ignition barrell aswell as the chip in the key off the previous car.

Think we did a decent job, only probs are, the brake vacuum pipe is too short for the air box - why it is bent around above the rocker cover.

Differences between the engines is marginal, this one gets much hotter and is much louder.

yup. Not sure whether its Hi-Torque lump. Its X14NZ i think. The one with the 2Nm extra torque in the manual...

While I had it on axle stands, I reved it in 5th, speedo went off the clocks
