Alright folks!
my mate changed my pads 2nite (cheers andy)
wen we done the passenger side it turned out that the pads wouldnt go into together! he couldn't get them over the caliper, hes changed brakes many a time and has never had this problem... wat could it be?

the piston was in all the way not a bit of space! is it possible that maybe i have a smaller caliper that side for watever reason??? maybe got replaced and i just dont know

You cant get the pads in or the calipers over the discs

rub them together for a minute or so to take a bit of width off them and try again.

I'd be worried if you could take off a bit of wqidth by just rubbing them for a minute

the pads will fit into the caliper fine jus doesnt wana go over the discs!

have you the correct pads correct sets cos theyll only go it one way ie you may have mixed them up??

aint got any pics! pads were the saem both sides i checked b4 i opend the packaging! MMMM fuk knows wats up... its in for its MOT anyway! so they will prob tell me the brakes need sorting and they can rsort it! ill let u's know wat is up with it!

jus found out the guy that had the car b4 me replace the caliper for a flat disc version meaning the pad carier was smaller! so im off to scrappies to get another SRI caliper and all will be fine i hope!

What, your trying to say that some1 replaced a caliper on an SRi for a non vented disc caliper on ONE side and drove it like that?!?!?!

YEP! and ive been driving the car like this for almost 2 years! had to change the brakes b4 but the garage done it and said they had problems!
but all will be sorted soon
