Who makes the thatcham approved alarm which uses the existing key fob to arm/unarm??

None that I know of, why does it have to use the exisiting fob....if you get a decent aftermarket alarm you can bin the o/e one and just have one fob anyway

I'm getting a Renault 172 and the fob is built into the key... I don't want to have 2 fobs!! Renault are fitting me a CAT 1 alarm which I think is activated by the locking button.

i went to vauxhall and got an alarm put on my car and it was bulit into the existing key fob, so when i dead lock my car, the alarm comes on aswell.
