Tryin 2 get insured on my corsa and i did the tesco online quote which said 1400, which is pretty much the cheapest ive had but it has to be a standard car, so i rung up and declared all my mods and it came to 1750 , i was thinkin i just get the online thing because my corsa isnt really heavily modded, this is what ive had done:

Colour coded bumpers, arches etc...
GSi spoiler
Corsa C SXi wheels
Lowered 40mm
Clear rear and side lights
Kamei grille

I also thought i could be sneaky and get the online quote and then declare the mods afterwards? Opinions?

Cheers, james

Unfortunately, Tesco are so cheap because they charge all those extras for mods.

yer nearly all of wot uhave mentioned is standard stuff!!! Just because ur bumpers are colour coded means feck all to the insurance as many cars came with them colour coded! gsi spoiler is also another item found on lots of corsa's, wheels are vauxhall so again not an aftermarket modification as such, springs yes i wud declare them, clear rears can be removed very easily if u need to get them off so wud be inclined not to declare them and the grill well no one will notice that being different.

so their u go ur premium will be much better now!
