If i was to have a 4" custom back box made without any wadding or baffle would this do the same as removing the center silencer and just having say a piper or magnex backbox?
would it be loud in other words?

if you are having a custom box made.....you can av it as loud...or as quiet as you want.......if you went to sumwer like ascar/powerflow/freeflow etc
they wud be able to make you one up....and if its to loud...the can make it quieter....if its to quiet they can make it slightly louder.....
but remember:
stay legal....keep it below 101Db

depends if you want it louder or not......you mite not need to remove the centre silencer......but if you want it louder...it wud create a few extra DB's

well thing is my mats got a pug 205 fut cat replacment system with twin magnex backboxes sounds realy loud not only outside but in. and iv got a shitty bb4 wich sounds deep but not loud as such, and because i dont realy want to remove the center sillencer if i dont need to, all i need to know is weather a custom box would sound better than my bb4, but i dont want it realt loud.
