wait till its warmed up fullytake off the coolent cap carefully and slowly there's a return pipe
rev the engine and you shuld see water coming throu it

be warned you may burn yourself
so be very care full

it is belt driven,bit of a bitch to do because of the position of the nuts,need midget finger`s to do it,lol.i got a brand new one for 30 quid from cost cutters.watch for leak`s around the bottom of the pump,there is a tiny hole on the pump which you can see from underneath the car when you look up.when the bearings go it leaks out of here

next question, which belt does it run on. iirc there are 2 on my engine

should run off your cam/timing belt.....unless the corsa diesel engine is different

should be bout 3bolts holding it in place also....either 10mm or 13mm....

if you need to replace it...you mite aswell fit a new cam belt aswell

30 minute job, easy, is on rhs of engine. not at all difficult. any monkey can do it.

doesnt run of cambelt, runs off aloternator belt.
