You want "the best".

The best for price is not necessarily the best for looks or quality.

The best for power is not necessarily the best for driveability.

It is the best. You don't need to chip the car to get the potential from it.

if ya going for a mantzel type box which performs better with raise limit get ARP rod bolts fitted and SBD metal idler pulleys, this will make the engine safe to rev to about 7500ish rpm, i got a mantzel, they are very good, only down point of the lexmaul is it retains the standard inlet thats so restrictive, this needs to go if ya serious about power gains

Cost wise, the Velos item is best - but it looks so homemade compared to the luverly Mantzel item.

People still seem to be getting hold of Velos items, whether they're second hand or what I don't know...

Even if they'd closed down I would have thought there would be someone there knocking out the inlet manifolds still.

it will be fully declared as are my current modifications.. its just not worth it if ya did ya a crash and u haddn't declared your modds ya'd be fecked...... i wanted to put a 2litre in but they wont cover it.. so that idea went down the drain.

i'm still on a provisional liecence so hopefully i'll get my test in the next few weeks.. been waiting since april

either that or when the clutch goes completely on the engine thats in the car at the moment... its on its way out and i cant justify paying 200 quid for a clutch and doing all that work when i'm going to get rid of that engine anyways.

when i start it should take 2 days to full convert bareing any problems.

annoying thing.. i dont want to do a 2litre conversion any more and i get offered a C20XE for €500 this morning

i dont know were ya would get them over here and i'd say if ya did find somewere that did stock them they'd pull yer pant down with the price.

i get all my parts in the uk way way cheaper and more readily available...

jasus wait till i have my full liecence i'be bring car loads of stuff in form there
