Any help would b gr8, pulled up at petrol station, filled up, came 2 drive off and the engine wudnt even turn over, tried jump leads, no luck, tried 2 bump it and wudnt turn over still. The engine managment light is on wen the key is turned but all the other lights go off. The headlights seem dim...

if the engine light is flashing its the immob
if not its summmit else it couldve been running rich? and has flooded

yeah if headlisghts are dim, check battery
they can just die in a matter of seconds... my corsa went from full charge to nothing when I parked up to get some chips from the chippy once.

cheers boys, sorted the problem, the positive battery terminal had corroded and was making a weak connection so replaced and its fine, cheers for the help
