which tyres are better, I am looking for general road use with a good life. I am not sure weather or not to stay with Yokohama A539 or swap for some Toyo Proxes T1-S, as they are about the same price.
any one had any exprience of these tyres?
Cheers

Toyos are a bit dodgey in the rain, stick with Yokohama, think yoko wear out quicker, and toyos have a nice profile

I agree there... the Rainsports are well impressive in the dry and in the rain.
Goodyear Eagle F1's are good too..

I found 539s pretty bad in the wet - was going to try some Eagle F1s but went for Avon ZV3s instead.
They're brilliant in the wet, but average in the dry.
Definately F1 GSD3s next tho...
... or maybe Michelin..

Toyo's are much better than ZV3's in the dry, and i'd say similar in the wet.

Difficult to get hold of for a decent price but the Bridgestone's Potenza RE720s I have are fantastic. Wearing very well, and great in the dry and brilliant in the wet. They also look cool! Far superior to the Goodyears I had on before.
