I'm 19 and just passed my test. I either want a corsa or a clio and I've found a few that I like. Top of my list is a modified clio, and I was quoted £1400 for insurance, which is shit, but acceptable. When I told them it had alloy's, they jacked that up by about £700 which is clearly ficking retarded (that was tesco). I'm really pissed off, cos I don't wanna have to pay 1000's for a first car that I don't like. Can anyone recommend an insurance company that wont screw me over for mods?

Thanks.

I'm with CIS and they only charge for performance enhancing engine mods mate, some people on here do say diffeent but my CIS rep said this is def the case my cars is lowered alloys etc and they not charged for any of it and i told them about the mods.
