Has the 1.2 8v got an airflow meter?
Cause im sure it must have, but i cant find it, any hints would be much appreciated.

if it has it will be on the pipe from the airbox to the inlet and look similar to this

Ya see, thats what logic would dictate it being, but i felt sure it would have to have one, yet it doesnt on the airbox, the pipe or the cover.
So how is airflow determined on these engines?

dont think so i ran mine before with no airbox or pipe.

it will run with no airbox or pipe we did with the corsa whilst squirting injector cleaner into the inlet

no it has a MAP sensor instead

I still cant find an AFM on my X16XE 
just a MAP sensor, thats it...
somethin aint right

I'm still confused on this engine 
some people yell at me saying there SHOULD be one, others say not...
yet all I can find is a MAP sensor, thats it...
think I need to take a weekend out & strip/rebuild it to understand it more...

the C16XE Gsi had a AFM the X16XE had a Air Mass Meter, in place of an AFM
