That aint gonna do shit...

You need to remove the passenger side kick pannel, disconnect the multi-plugs from behind it, reconnect the battery and then start the car - it will start then stall after a couple of seconds. The disconnect the battery and get busy on whatever you were gonna do...

Yea, your deisconnecting the fuel relay which stops the pump from working, as the fuel tank is lower than the fuel rail all the fuel will be used up from the lines and then then engine will be starved from fuel and stop...

Just stick some rags under the pipe when you disconnect them.

would this work? leaving the immob on which cuts the fuel pump, starting the car and waiting for it to stall?

wait 15 minutes and the pressure drops in the lines any way, you will get fuel spillage as miles said just get a rag at the ready, and dont smoke while doing it

The whole fuel system depressurisation is just blown outa proportion, its to try n stop amateurs doing any mechanical work on them.

Just leave it to stand for 15 min and your fine, fuck d/c the battery, that means you have to bother setting the clock and your stereo setting ago

just take the fuel pump relay out, start the car, wait for it to stall and then voila, depressurised fuel system.

Even if you didnt depressurise it and took the pipe off, there wouldnt be that much pressure in there anyway to cause fuel to piss everywhere.
