You don't get HID full beams anymore because the light that is produced is too similar to daylight so it makes it hard to see where you are going. Thats the brief explination - it is very scientific I think

i got the HID's for my audi off ebay, they were just Hella HID's for a H1 bulb fitment. just use which ever one is correct, although the corsa b standard headlights you want be able to get them for as they use dual filament bulbs.
Paid £150 off ebay brand new.

I should think so Kev ^^^
it installs all tidy. you got to drill a 23 mm hole in the back of the light unit tho.

Very intresting,
Did you just pay over the internet and have the items delivered?
I guess you get instructions in the box?
Is it just a case of plugging the existing wireing into a box then the box into the light?

The install is so easy. but it is a bit more difficult if you have a prefacelift 1.8 and fitting the facelift lights as they arnt ment to be. but it all goes toghether nice.
yep paid over internet. came in 3 days.
everything in the box. + 1yr warranty

okay found this about auto leveling http://forums.vwvortex.com/zerothread?id=1263903
Basically auto level lowers/highers the beam considering the weight of cargo in the Car. Well i got manual leveling which is good enough for me. but im looking on ways to get auto at the moment. you may also need washer jets for the lights. which i spose you could easily rig this up with some in the bumper and a modified washer bottle.
