Hmm... They've got a couple of bits to do anyway when it's in to be serviced, but they never charge me £50 an hour-thats a crazy price I'll have to have a think about it...

Yeah you're right- I've just checked with my friend who used to work there and he says they would fit it but if anything should go wrong etc it's not their fault (unless obviously the fault was due to fitment etc ) as its a non standard part. Which is contradiction as they re-fitted my Piper Cams into my new engine in July... That's the only thing that puts me off getting Quaiffe now- getting it fitted if Vaux won't do it for me

my mate who sells them lives in essex and will fit it for 50 quid if u want. u will need to replace the bearings aswell as miles said as its not worth the hassle of using the old ones. u will also need new bottom gasket and oil. in total in comes out at 110 for the fitting using genuine vauxhall bearings and gasket that are bought trade

I would suggest you phone me and I will answer any questions you have about fitting and the benefits of a Quaife ATB diff.
Why you would want to pay for a Vauxhall dealer to service your car and possibly fit an ATB ?
Their hourly rate is probably near £75+VAT per hour.
An ex-vauxhall technician fits the diffs plus I have fitted the best part of fifty diffs to various gearboxs and rebuilt hundreds of engines including XE/LET, YB Cosworth, BDG and BDT.
