when should you change your cambelt?
not sure if my car has had one change before, car has now done 66,000 miles, R reg plate, 1.6 Sport.
car had service this time last year according to the reciepts.

aye, TOMAS is right, get it changed. its not worth killin your engine for the sake of £20
i got a 1300 polo for £300 and camblet was the first thing to be done,
also got a 1400 16V ready to go in my corsa, that has also now got a new cambelt
peice of piss to do on the 1400/1600 16V motors too

Should replace the rollers too.
think it's at 30-40k it should be in the service schedule for the car.

i changed my cam belt on my 1.4 8v in under an hour with the right tools
Bu ti would sugets u get it done they say every 60K i think with my engine and i did mine at 68k
