hi everyone, new to this forum..
i've just changed my rocker cover gasket on my 1.6 tigra (same engine as corsa), also my upper inlet manifold gasket. Once everything was back together i started it and it revs really high to start with, then settles and revs up and down continuely with a faint hissing sound. i'm not sure if i have put a hose on incorrectly, mixed them up, or whether the gasket wasn't fitted correctly. the engine management light comes on continuely.
Any help on this is appreciated, any pictures of your engines without the plastic cover on would be a help too.
thanks!!

check for loose hoses or a stub without a hose on it.
if you can't see any, then it's possible that the inlet gasket wasn't fitted properly.
funny idleing because air is getting in after the afm. un-metered air is bad. probably what you can hear aswell.
you could always pull off the fault codes.
guide how to in faq section.
