Want std noise from the car sleeper bud My Green causes waaay to much induction roar, I want to be able to cruise motorway at 70 and appreciate the ICE not the Raaaaarrrrr
I figured one of the enclosed kits would be much quieter...
Another contender would be the Green 'twister' and K&N's new sealed efforts... Green is by far cheapest but it looks silly/tacky IMO.

yup, 57i like everyone else, or the green filter in the fitting kit or something. not really inportant. if anything, you really want to have the std airbox off the 20xe fitted to eliminate the kangaroo effect, or chop the inside bit out of the rocker cover. but hey, max power cheapo one will do me

I'm the owner of an AP22 Race tecnology perfomance meter.
I test every mod against the base line Power run that I've got. The 35£ sealed cotton gauze filter gave a power increase over 5000 rpm against the Original airbox with K+N+ adittional cold air pipe ...
The only way to say what it's best is testing in the same car and in the same condition the rest is pure...bullocks

I have no outstanding issues - they were all taken care of with a 100mm cold air feed and a hacksaw

one of the best filters i tried was the standard one of an AXGT for a laugh, made a much better sound than my piperX and made it go like the nuts lmao.
i disagree about induction kits alone not making a difference on NA engine.... i've noticed it gives it a lot more pull if i put my foot down at 60mph than the air box
