rite this is wot happened........
Just been out to take my bro 2 his m8s and when i started it it sounded as if it wanted to die but it didnt. I gave it a little bit of gas in neutral and let it settle then it idled fine again....
The as i was driving i was in 3rd and then there was suddenly almost no power and it went really slow so i lifted my foot off the gas and applied the gas again and it went fine, it did this routine about 6 times or so in the 40 minutes i was out,
Then it went fine and didnt do it all the way home!
Im sorry for the essay but im only 17 and dont have a clue about engines at the moment, the car is a 1997 1.2 8v
Is this just a one off?
Thanks

i reckon it could be damp, take of your distributor cap and get some wd-40 in there, then pop out the ign. leads where they go on yer spark plugs and spray some more in there. If that doesnt work then jus do new plugs/leads/distributor cap/rotor arm. More than likely a simple ignition fault!
