think rent, council tax, gas, electricity, water, food before everything else. if you just get a room it will be cheaper but your still looking at a lot just to stop M&D moaning at your to tidy your room or help more round the house

rent, bills (electric, water + sewage, council tax, gas, telephone, tv licence), food + general living
all depends where you live to how much its gonna cost you obviously, but you get the idea

I pay £400 a month (maybe a little less) which includes rent and bills. I just put it into another account so that when a bill comes in the money is there to pay it. Spend around another £150 on food but i mainly eat out cos i cant cook I don't have Sky or nothing, just broadband and i'm not a heavy phone user.
Price all depends on where you live.
Do you have any money saved to buy thing for your new home? I had some savings, probably spent around 1k to start off with but my parents gave me loads and loads of stuff such as cooker, washer, dryer, a big TV. A mate gave me a sofa and i had the usual stuff you have in your room such as TV, video, DVD, stereo, PC, Laptop, PS2, wardrobe, bed etc.
