Oil Catch Tank cam belt end, coolent reservoir coil end.
16XE, not sure if its a C or X, doesn't make any odds at this spec anyway.
That is a funky looking airbox, and a nice idea. How well does it work?
I hope the filter seals against the bonnet with a vent?

Andy's is an X16 I was really curious about the whole airbox thing, looks really effective, he also has a pic of a different B in his garage sporting an imprexa air scoop. perhaps his corsa has one, but is too embaressed at least andy's is there for a purpose though.

It would be good if it was a designed volume to boost torque at given revs, or maybe it already is and that's why peak torque is so good?

I expect peak torque is extrememly high, probably around 5500rpm, since the engine has a limit of about 9000rpm

30 lb/ft torque increase with about an extra 110bhp is pretty good going with TB's.

I think that with a vent on the bonnet this car is not usable under the rain, but... what spec!
Hehehe, if the planum is right tuned it can usa the helmholtz resonance...

Masterx, a bit of rain water never hurt nobody, gives the trumpets a bit of a clean, and will cool the air even further

Hi guys
To answer the queries:
The tank on the driver's side is an oil recirculation tank. Any oil that gets thrown up to the head during high rpm/cornering is pumped down to the sump to prevent oil starvation of the crank
The peak torque is around 5500rpm (well done Cybermonkey). The air box is fed from a bonnet scoop and IS sealed. The scoop however is not the one in the pics - it sits at the front bonnet (effectively where the grill was - I now have a lowered slam panel). The air is then fed under the bonnet in sealed trunking direct to the box. I had the airbox done because I wanted the longest possible air horns fitted (to increase torque) and a box permitted this as well as ensuring that only cold air enters the engine. Also provides a slight ram effect, but the power gain from this is negligible.
Engine is being rebuilt at mo - will post more pics when it's back up and running

This tank is an interesting thing... So, you have a second pump that put the oil from the tank to the sump? Whot are the three connections?
Sorry but I'm curious
Ps: Nice car
