I'm thinkin of gettin a strut brace but it is in Red, could i get it re-painted in another colour like silver or is a special paint. Sorry if i sound like a Dumbass

Cool, Cheers mate. Was also wonderin if i could just strip the paint off it and then polish up the metal so it's shiny.

Ah, didn't realise it was a metal strut brace.
That will probably have cellulose paint so it's not going to be easy to paint over as it's bonded to the brace's bi-metallic layer.
I think Hammerite do a solvent treatment that dissolves the paint.
Yes, you can just strip the paint off and polish it. Whether it'll be shiny who knows. You'll probably find the metal underneath is a load of crap and looks better painted.

paint stripper called nitro-mors seemed quite good when i used it

Has anyone every stripped off the paint then on their strut brace and polshed it up, what did it come out like.
