Need some advice on these radiator valves!

Basically we have thermo rad valves all all radiators but 1, summits about the water needs a back up route incase all the thermo rads are off.

Anyway, the bathroom rad keeps filling up with air and it has 2 adjustors on either end, wondering if winding it in stops the flow or increases it!? Its just so i can set it up as im wondering if before 1 end has been closed all along or just not opened enuf......

winding them in will shut the valves, thus isolating the rad.

Yes you need 1 with just 2 lockshield valves to allow a constant cycle.

2 adjusters??? What like 2 TRV's? thats not right.......

What sort of system do you have? One pipe system or two pipe? Open system or sealed? Combi or Boiler and tank?

if you are getting excessive air in the rads you may need to check the Antigravity Valve and replace it.

Is it a new radiator that wont work or an existing radiator thats stopped working???

Make sure the pumps off when you bleed it!

God knows what sort of system we have, its not a combi boiler i know that.

I'm basically getting excess air in 1 radiator, it wont even bleed off and rise, i just have to fill it up with cold water every now and then, the tank in the roof is full to top up the system, maybe the feed to the boiler is blocked?

BUT where is the water going when we dont have a leak in the house?

Its not taking alot mind...........still annoying getting out the bath and having a nipple on cos its freezing lol
