when the alarm is armed should the light be constant red or flashing red?
if its constant then what does flashing red mean?

i think constant red, is when u open door / unlock car & disarm alarm - closed the doors but dont go to start car and it re - arms the immoboliser. *if that makes sense*

Constant red means the immobiliser has kicked in but you can still open doors etc
flashing means the alarm is armed!

orange is when the doors are open.

Flashing green is when the alram is first disarmed and the doors have not been open, the light goes amber as soon as you open a door

depends on which toad alarm it is
orange when the doors are open (or any of the opening sensors,doors,boot etc) is on the ai606 only
red on is normaly alarm disarmed, imobiser on (for the c2,c4 c5 c6 etc)
if it starts, the imobiser isnt wired in

Actually I rate Toad Alarms over anything else this particular one back in april 2005 was pissing me off but turned out it was the interior light causing the problem anyway
