Hey looking into doing a 2.0ltr red top (non-turbo) conversion on my Corsa B and was jus wandering exactly what will have to be changed to make it stable? Ive searched round the site and picked up lil ideas but still not got the whole picture. thanks

Top Tip! Dont go and get anything from COSSVAUX!!!!!!!!!!!

hey redsport. im acutally from flintshire, same as you I take it people have had alot of problems with cossvaux?

Took nearly 4 weeks to arrive putting me xe coversion back "just a bit"

I live in hawarden/ewloe... Did u go down bookers tonite?

Sorry, when i say stable i mean whats going to need to be changed along with the engine so that the 2.0 lasts more than a few days lol. I no that il need the shafts and hubs changing and some sort of engine mounting kit..What else would need to be done?

Oh yeh, mate of mine lives in hawarden. I live in Caergwrle so not too far

most people do a rebuild but even that is not a certainty as rebuild will only be as good as person doin it does it if u get me.

all i did was had visual checks on clutch/bottom end inspection/cambelt/water pump/auxillery belts/oil/coolant/oil filter/fuel filter maybe.

why engine is out clean engine bay, paint block of the engine black or whatever, then u may aswell replace all rusted screws with news ones

finally ull need,

engine/gearbox/loom/ecu
full fitting kit if u choose this method
some1 to do it or do it urself

then decent brakes i.e ate/v6/reyland/brembo
and some coilovers or decent spring damper setup

if u need a chassis mount i have brand new which ull need m8 cost ya 80 quid from cossvaux etc i want 35 delivered so will save ya 50 quid m8

also is urs a 16v model corsa

Yeh its the 1.4 16v sport. Cheers mate il keep that in mind, ive not started anythin yet just weighing up options and stuff.thanks
